THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Nov. 5, 1666 A very early issue of the world's oldest continually published English language newspaper, having begun in 1666 and is still publishing today.
Included among the reports is one from Norwich referencing the Great Plague which afflicted much of Europe at this time: "Our bill of mortality for this last week runs thus, buried of all diseases 67, where of the Plague 58."
Complete as a single sheet newspaper, 7 by 11 1/4 inches, good condition.
