Half of the first column of page 3 is taken up with a very nice stack of headlines concerning the search for the African explored Dr. Livingstone. Among the heads: "DR. LIVINGSTONE" "The Expedition of the New York Herald in Quest of the Great African Traveler" "Description of the Undertaking" "Personnel of the Enterprise & the Forces Composing It" and much more.
The text takes most of the page. Given this expedition was a project in part financed by the N.Y. Herald, this newspaper had excellent coverage.
Complete in 12 pages, there are various older tape mends on several pages but fortunately not affecting the mentioned article. Otherwise good condition.
