THE TOWN & COUNTRY MAGAZINE, London, March, 1775  Formatted very much like the more popular "Gentleman's Magazine" but a considerably less common title.
Several pages are taken up with the: "Debates on the Bill For Restraining the Fishery of the New England Provinces".
Also several pages concerning Captain James Cook's voyage around the world, including: "Similarity in the Languages of Otaheite [Tahiti] and New Zealand" as well: "Transactions in Botany Bay".
Near the back is half a page taken up with news reports under the heading: "America" with datelines from Charleston, Hartford, Boston and New York, the full text of which can be seen in the photos.
Both plates called for are present, one of which has a related article.
Complete in 56 pages, full title/contents page, 5 by 8 inches, very nice condition.
