COLUMBIAN CENTINEL, Boston, Jan. 15, 1794 A fine issue with much on the: "Citizen Genet Affair", the situation in which Revolutionary France--through its ambassador to the U.S., Edmond Genet--strongly urged the United States to support its cause against the British, nearly causing a diplomatic crisis between the U.S. and France, and resulting in causing Washington to formalize a policy of neutrality with foreign nation.
The entire front page and over half of page 2 are taken up with related letters, two signed by Genet himself.
