NEW YORK DAILY TIMES, May 14, 1852 Pager 3 has a small bit noting: "Harriet Beecher Stowe, wife of Professor Stowe of Bowdoin College, and the author of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" has received $4,000 as her share of the sales already made of that work. She receives 10 cents on each copy sold..." with a bit more.
Also on pg. 3 is a "For Sale" ad for land in Bridgeport, Ct., signed by P.T. Barnum.
