NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, April 29, 1815 (with supplement)  Inside has much under the heading: "New Orleans" which begins: "General Orders. The commanding general, with the most lively emotions of joy & of gratitude to heaven, announces to the troops under his command that a treaty of peace between the United States and Great Britain was ratified and exchanged at Washington on the 17th of February last..." which is signed: Robert Butler.
This is followed by a document signed by: James Monroe, secretary of State concerning the end of the war, and this followed by an: "Address" to Andy Jackson, with: "The General's Answer" which is quite lengthy & signed in type: Andrew Jackson. Plus there is another address to Jackson followed by: "General Jackson's Answer" signed: Andrew Jackson.
There are nearly 4 pages of "War Events" which has several subheads including: "Capture of The President" "Last Naval Victory" and many other reports.
Included with this issue is the "Supplementary" issue of 8 pages which includes items relating to the War of 1812.
Complete in 24 pages, 6 by 9 1/2 inches, some very lite scattered foxing, otherwise in very good condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
