Page 2 has over a full column headed: "Still Later From Pike's Peak" with subheads: "First Authentic Information from the New Gold Diggings--Previous Reports Corroborated--Rich Gold Fields--Description of the Country--Prospects of the Miners, etc." Pg.2 also has: The Negros Sent Back to Africa by the U.S. Ship Niagara, and a fascinating article: "Dead Man Picking Himself Up--A Ghost Bringing his Bones from Hartford" (see for portions).
Four pages, close-trimmed at the bottom of pg. 2 causes loss to the bottom line affecting the Pike's Peak report, otherwise nice.
