THE NEW YORK TIMES, March 1, 1933

* Earliest newspaper advertisement
* King Kong, the movie for opening day

This 38 page newspaper has a very significant & historic advertisement for the movie "King Kong" in it's entertainment section (page 13). This advertisement is in the issue the day before the movie made it's premiere at Radio City Music Hall making it a great addition for any movie memorabilia collection. It measures 14 x 6 inches with nice graphic appeal. This movie was considered by many as the greatest and most famous classic horror film of all time.
I would have to say that most everybody has seen this film sometime in their life. What's even better is that this advertisement is in the famous New York Times which was the city that made King Kong famous after his capture. A rare opportunity to have a original piece of history from this classic movie before the public first viewed it.
Complete, other news, sports and advertisements. Rag edition in nice condition.
