The entire front page is taken up with four illustrations captioned: "The Manufacture of Edison's Talking Doll" which included within a little photograph system. An extremely early item that would be replicated the next century with the "Chatty Cathy" doll. Inside has almost a full column article concerning it.
Complete in 16 pages, a repair to the lower right corner of the front leaf touches the corner of the border. Other older archival mends at various margins.
