Seward Reviving" "Secretary Seward Just Alive" "His Son Frederick W. Dead" "Booth, the Assassin, Arrested" "Further Particulars of the Tragedy". The coverage continues on page 2 with what were the first reports as received by the newspaper: "Appalling National Calamity" "Murder In The Capital" 'President Lincoln Assassinated In A Theatre" "Secretary Seward Stabbed in his Bed" "The President Just Alive at Half-Past Two O'clock This Morning" "His Case Absolutely Hopeless" with more.
This issue also has notable Civil War reports from the closing moments, including; "The Surrender of Gen. Lee" and "The Pursuit & Surrender of Lee--Further Interesting Particulars".
