MIRROR NEWS--EXTRA, Los Angeles, Oct. 8, 1956

* Don Larsen' famous perfect game
* New York Yankees World Series
* Great headline for display

One of the best headlines on this historic event in baseball history. The bold banner headline announces: "1ST PERFECT GAME IN SERIES HISTORY" with related subheads. Also a large photo of Yogi Berra jumping into the arms of Larsen, and a small photo of Larsen as well. This was also the first perfect game since 1922.
The front page of the sports section has a nice presentation as well with banner headline: "LARSEN PITCHES SELF INTO HALL OF FAME" "Hurls First Perfect No-Hitter in World Series Annals" with two photos of Larsen, one with Dodger President Walter O'Malley. (see)
Also of significance is this being a same-day report, as almost all East Coast newspapers reported it in their Oct. 9 editions.
The complete issue with all 3 sections and in great condition.
