COLUMBIAN CENTINEL, Boston, Jan. 16, 1796 Page 2 has a letter from the President to Congress signed in script type: Go. Washington. Also on pg. 2 is a letter from the French to Washington, with his reply also signed in script type: Go. Washington. This title was one of very few which used script type for the President, which is more decorative.
Also a front page letter signed in type: John Adams. Four pages, untrimmed margins, small hole at the center affects 3 words in the 2nd Washington letter, otherwise very nice.
