Page 2 has a report: "The Great Tragedy" beginning: "It is stated that nearly all the person directly implicated in the conspiracy against the lives of President Lincoln & his cabinet are now in custody..." with more (see photos). Of much interest is a letter John Wilkes Booth wrote to his mother on the day of the assassination signed by him in type: John (see photos).
Page 2 also has: "The Funeral Cortege" "Progress of the Procession" "From Cleveland to Columbus" & more (see photos). Other bits on the closing moments of the Civil War.
This issue is complete with four pages, and is in great condition.
