HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, May 20, 1865  The front page of this issue contains: "The Assassination" and "President Lincoln's Funeral" and includes illustrations of: "Garrett's Barn Where Booth Was Shot: and "Garrett's House, Where Booth Died" and a small associated illustration inside the issue "President Lincoln's Funeral - Memorial Arch Erected at Sing Sing, April 25, 1865".
Inside has additional articles on: "The Assassination Plot" as well as two full page illustrations on Lincoln's funeral. A fine doublepage centerfold: 'Palm Sunday' shows two panels: "The Savior's Entry Into Jerusalem: & "The Surrender of Gen. Lee and His Army to Lt. Gen. Grant", the latter very historic on the end of the Civil War. Another article is "President Lincoln's Old Home" which includes a nearly half-page illustration of his home in Springfield, Illinois. A half page print: "Explosion of the Steamer Sultana, April 28, 1865"
Sixteen pages, never bound nor trimmed, some wear at the margins & other minor wear, generally good.
