THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Sept. 25, 1781  Inside has a letter from Brooklyn which includes: "Rochambeau & Washington are in force near King's Bridge & promising the plunder of New York to their soldiers. We have little doubt of being able to resist all their attacks...By letters from Virginia we see that the rebels are also in force in that province...The rebellion will not be so soon finished as you imagine...unless you send us a great many more troops..." (see). The bkpg. has a few references to the Revolutionary War as well.
