THE ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS, London, England, February 25, 1888  The front cover is entitled "Chasing and Capturing a Diamond thief at the South African Diamond-Fields" and is comprised of four scenes. Within the issues is "The Delagoa Bay Railway, South Africa"; halfpage illustrations "Trial of M. Wilson, in Paris, for Illicit Dealing in French Decorations" and "Mrs. Maria C Douglass, M.D., and the First Class of Pupil Nurses in Burmah". A fullpage "The Russian Army: Caucasian Cossacks Crossing a Pass in Daghestan". A half-page "Progress of the Works of the Tower Bridge over the Thames". Full page illustrations "Across Two Oceans - The Atlantic Voyage" and "Caught at Last!". Included is a duo-tone fullpage supplement "Terrible News". Within the issue are additional articles, illustrations and advertisements.

This is complete in 21 pages measuring approximately 16 x 11.75 inches and is in very nice condition.
