A terrific issue for display, as over half of the front page is dominated by two maps, one very large headed: "THE IMPORTANT VICTORY IN KENTUCKY." and the other headed: "The Rebel Zollicoffer's Stronghold On The Cumberland River." Plus, there are very nice first column heads including: "Brilliant Victory of the Union Troops in Kentucky" "Prolonged & Bloody Battle at Somerset" "Defeat & Flight of Zollicoffer's Rebel Army" "Hot Pursuit of the Flying Enemy" "The Route to East Tennessee Open" and more.
Eight pages, very nice condition.
