LONG ISLAND DEMOCRAT, Jamaica, Queens County, (Long Island), May 25, 1852 A rather uncommon title from this Long Island town. The bottom of pg. 2 has a report: "Death of Mrs. Adams" which begins: "Mrs. John Quincy Adams died in Washington on the 15th..." with a bit more (see). Also on pg. 2 is: "Escape of an Alleged Slave" (see). Four pages, very nice condition with wide margins.
