THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Oct. 13, 1774

* Paying for the tea in the Boston Tea Party
* Pre Revolutionary War original

Page 2 has an interesting report on the taking of the gun powder at several Mass. arsenals, noting: "...the men of war & troops began to fire upon the people last night at sunset at Boston...the artillery played all night; that the people were universally rallying from Boston...number were killed the first shot..." with more, signed: Israel Putnam. But this is immediately followed by reports that this is not true, that: "...the inhabitants were in a state of peace and tranquility; nor had they heard of any violence..." with a bit more.
There are also two letters from Williamsburg, Virginia, concerning the trouble with Indians (see).
Another page has reports from Boston concerning the court situation (see for portions), and the back page has letters from Baltimore and New  York concerning the Boston Port Bill and trouble with the Indians.
Eight pages, red ink tax stamp on page 4, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, some foxing at folds to the ftpg. only, nice condition.
