April 24, 1912
NEW YORK TRIBUNE, April 24, 25, 26, 27, and 30, 1912. A set of five issues from not long after the Titanic sinking, each with front page reports of the follow-up and inquiries. Headlines can be seen in the photos, but include: "300 Sacrificed As They Cry For Aid" "Not One Lifeboat Left Filled"  "Titanic's  Officers Saw Safety For All" "The Mystery Of Nearby Ship" "Senators Rushing Action On Titanic" "Titanic's Rockets Seen, but Useless" "End of Titanic Inquiry In Sight" and more.
All are complete issue with minimal edge wear, the April 27 issue has two old tape mends on the ftpg., one over a hole the other over a tear, otherwise in rather nice condition.
