THE NEW YORK HERALD, New York, September 19, 1865  The front page of the issue contains a small report "The Wirz Trial" with a sub-head  "Adjournment of the Court Until To-day -- Wirz Unable to Sit Up" "...He continues very sick and unable to sit up; he lay on a sofa. The physician of the Old Capitol Prison was in attendance and administered either to him."  Page 5 contains an almost full three column article "The Army" which is a listing of the Brevet Promotions.

This is a complete, uncut 8 page issue which does have some foxing and dirtiness on the front of the issue from where it had been folded at one time
