NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, March 9, 1833  This small size newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the 19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
Certainly the best content in this issue is the inside page account of: "The Inauguration" which is followed by the: "Inaugural Address Of The President Of the United States, Fourth of March, 1833" which takes over half a page This was the inauguration & inaugural address of Andrew Jackson.
Other items of interest in this issue include: "The Indians" "Letter From General Mercer" "The Tariff Bill" and over 8 pages of reporting from Congress.
Great to have this inaugural coverage from a newspaper so close to Washington, D.C. Complete in 16 pages, 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, in very nice condition.
