PHILADELPHIA MERCANTILE ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, June 23, 1814

The prime feature of this newspaper is the great, very displayable, and very large engraving of a heraldic eagle in the masthead with a wingspread of nearly 7 inches (see).

The balance of the ftpg. is taken up with ads. Page 2 has: "British in the Delaware which is concerning the War of 1812, as do some page 3 reports: "From The Flotilla" and "To General Philip Stuart and a few other items. The bkpg. is filled with ads as well.

Four pages, a bit of scattered foxing, subscriber's name written in the masthead, nice condition.
