EMANCIPATOR AND FREE AMERICAN, Boston, Dec. 29, 1842  As the title would suggest, this is an anti-slavery newspaper. Among the many articles in this issue are those headed: "Conclusion of Mr. Adams' Weymouth Speech" "Pro-Slavery Items in Connecticut" "A Slaveholding, Woman-Selling Baptist!"  "Anti-Slavery Meeting at Charlestown" "Prospects of the Liberty Party" "Baptist Anti-Slavery" and more.
Page 2 contains an illustrated ad for "James Birney" for President, under the Liberty ticket.
Four pages, a discreet archival mend on pg. 3, very nice condition.
