THE SALEM OBSERVER, Massachusetts, Jan. 16, 1841 Page 2 has an article with small head: "Mormons" which includes: "The singular community have commenced a paper at Nauvoo, Ill. The first number gives a history of the 'Rise of the Church', (the true church of course), but which it appears that the Mormons recognise the entire Scriptures including an 'infinite atonement' by the Redeemer...The Mormons have a regular Priesthood, 'elders', priests, etc. and 'Aaronic' order..." with more (see).
