Genuine one dollar bank note from "The Cochituate Bank" in Massachusetts, January 1, 1852
As was typical of bank notes of this vintage it has beautiful and intricate engravings on the obverse (see photos), and the word "ONE" in red ink. The reverse is blank.
Generally very nice condition save for loss in the upper left corner (see photos). Measures about 3 by 7 inches.
