THE ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, Atlanta, Georgia, September 7, 1918 The front page includes a near banner headline: "Beerless, Wineless, Whiskyless" with subheads including: "Beer Goes Dec. 1; Wine and Whisky Pass July 1, 1919" and more (see photos).
Also of significance is the sports page which has a nice two column head:
" 'Babe' Ruth Is the Cubs' Only Obstacle in Series" with subheads: "Fullerton Doubts Even the Superman's Ability to Stem the Tide--More Tense Situations in Friday's Game Than in Opener--Knabe and Wagner Stage One-Round Bout" with lengthy text.
Above this reporting on Babe Ruth is a five column headline:
"COUNT ON SERIES IS NOW ONE ALL" with text on the Major League World Series between the Cubs and the Boston Red Sox, with much text (see photos).
Complete in 16 pages, a bit irregular at the blank spine margin, otherwise in very nice condition.
