This is the very desirable "Automobile Number" as stated in the masthead. The cover of this issue features a very nice color illustration of an early automobile racing an airplane, captioned in the lower left corner: "Speed Rivals."
Note that the plane is somewhat similar to the plane flown by the Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk in 1903. The front page inside has seven photos of "Automobile Curiosities." Nice tipped-in double pg centerfold has twenty-six photos: "The Cars Of 1909--Big And Little."
Has various automobile-relate articles, photos and ads throughout this 40 page issue. The front cover has part of a lightly inked library stamp in the lower margin, otherwise in very good condition. Nice for display.
