THE NEW YORK HERALD, May 2, 1863 Over half of the ftpg. is taken up with a very large Civil War map headed: "IMPORTANT MOVEMENTS ON THE RAPPAHANNOCK. Map of the Rappahannock and Rapidan Rivers, Showing the Fords and Roads & the Surrounding Country." (see photos) There are also first column heads which include: "IMPORTANT" "News From Hooker's Army" "The Rappahannock Crossed" "The Union Troops Victorious" "Brilliant Dash on the Rebel Rifle Pits Below Fredericksburg" "Splendid Feeling Existing Among the Troops" and more. Eight pgs., a bit irregular at the blank spine margin, lite dirtiness to a lower quadrant of the ftpg., generally very nice.
