THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, July 8, 1772  Featured is an excerpt from a letter by Sir William Hamilton, reading in part:  "Soon after we had seated ourselves on the highest point of Mount Eatha, the Sune arose, and displayed a scene that surpasses all description...".
Another letter sent from Warsaw, discusses the term for peace between the Russians and the Ottoman Empire.  The article spans from the bottom column 1 on page 2 to the middle of column 3.
Page 3 gives a description of the Royal Company of Arches, and an announcement stating an impending meeting.
This is a complete issue in four pages, in good condition with lite dirtiness at the fold. A partial red tax stamp is at the lower corner of the front page.
