THE POST-BOY, London, Dec. 17, 1724 A front page report from Philadelphia says that two New-England Men arrived at Jamaica after being: "...absent from their Country near fifteen Years. States that they were previously captured by Indians ...carryd to Canada, from whence they soon made Their escape with some others, and traveld over the whole Continent of America to Caliphornia; where building a Barque, they coasted down along to Panama, and so came over Land to the North-Sea...", plus mention that one of the men kept a journal of their ordeal.
