Austins First Regiment Band gave a concert prior to the game." About Daily it says: "Hugh Daily, the one armed pitcher, made his first appearance with the St. Louis club. He was very wild giving...eight men bases on balls." "From The Hub" says Ferguson is the only competent umpire in the NL and more.
