This issue has a color cover page before the title page. On the back of the cover page there are photos from the war in blue ink.

The first page features an editorial article "The Lusitania" which is reflective of the recent sinking.

In this issue, there are several articles including "The War and America" by William Kent; "Thirty Years" by Neith Boyce; "Guilty! by George Creel; "Birth Control and Public Morals" by Mary Alden Hopkins; "Matamoras--A War Film" by Mrs. Borden Harriman; "An Aristocrat of the Democracy" by Ray Stannard Baker; "Stage Drift" by Karl Schmidt and "Concerning a Real Champion" by Herbert Reed plus much more.

There are also several illustrations in this issue including "Pen and Inklings--Go Away Closer!" by Oliver Herford and the double page centerfold illustration which is titled "Portrait of a Specialist giving 'Strictly Confidential Advice' to more than 10,000 ailing women every day" by Chamberlain.

Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century. This issue is in very good condition.
