HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, May 8, 1869 The front page includes nine illustrations of "Spiritual Photography." Inside is a 1/4 page illustration of "Jacques Offenbach, the French Composer of 'Opera Bouffe'." Two small illustrations of "The Garrote" and "The Prisoner's Seat" along with a halfpage illustration of "Execution by Garroting of Leon and Medina at Havana, April 8, 1869." There is also a 1/3 page illustration of "There Appeared, Also, the Dim Outline of a White Face." (Ghost) with the accompanying article "The Face of Horror". A half-page illustration of "Submarine Divers Equipped for their Descent.". The fullpage illustration of "The Man of War's Man." (Sailor) is very displayable. A 1/3 page illustration of "Hon. Andrew G. Curtis, Minister to Russia" has an accompanying article. A Halfpage illustration of "The Capitol at Washington During a Night Session of Congress." There is a fullpage illustration containing seven smaller illustrations pertaining to "The First of May in New York City." A 1/3 page illustration of "The Young Men's Christian Association Building, Washington, D.C." has an accompanying article. Also, a halfpage illustration of "The Wild Cat in Her Litter."
Complete in 16 pages and contains additional prints and related text.
