NEW-YORK DAILY TRIBUNE, May 8, 1850 The front page has excerpts with a brief description of Frederick Douglass's "Men and Brothers" address given at the prior days meeting of the American Anti-Slavery Society in New York. This fiery address, which is often overlooked, is credited as being instrumental in setting the stage for his oratory and style and thematic elements. The entirety of the coverage is shown in the first photo, however, details of the meeting are considerable.
