Page 3 has under "Pennsylvania": "A meeting of the deluded citizens of Kentucky, at Lexington...to the number...of 5 or 6000, agreed to revolutions against the Alien and Sedition laws...They request their representatives to lay the resolutions before the national legislature and President."
Page 2 has an address: "To the President of the United States" from military officers of Baltimore County, relating to the growing tensions with France. One bit notes: "...When we reflect on the appointment of General Washington to the chief command of the federal armies, & his immediate acceptance of the trust, we can with difficulty find words to express the love & respect we feel for the person & character of that aged Hero and venerable Patriot..." with more glowing comments.
Complete in 4 pages, slight foxing, a few minor archival mends which do not encroach upon the key articles, otherwise good.
