Headed "Death of John Adams" the report carries over to take close to half of the next column (see photos). Complete in 4 pages and in very nice, clean condition. A signficant report from just 6 days after his death. Thomas Jefferson died on the very same day as well.

AI notes: John Adams, the second President of the United States, died on July 4, 1826, at the age of 90, the same day as his longtime friend and rival, Thomas Jefferson. His death came exactly 50 years after the Declaration of Independence was adopted, a document Adams had played a crucial role in drafting and advocating for. In his final years, Adams lived in Quincy, Massachusetts, reflecting on the founding of the nation and corresponding with political leaders and family. His passing was widely mourned as the loss of one of the last surviving Founding Fathers who had been intimately involved in the American Revolution and the early formation of the U.S. government.
