CONNECTICUT MIRROR, Hartford, Aug. 21, 1815  Pages 2 and 3 have all columns and margins in wide, black mourning rules, signifying the death of someone famous. In this case it is for the death of the Lt. Governor, with the page 3 announcement beginning: "With the liveliest emotions of sorrow, it is our painful duty to announce to our readers, & the public, the death of HIS HONOUR CHAUNCEY GOODRICH, LIEUTENANT GOVERN OF THIS STATE, in the 57th year of his age..." with more detail.
Four pages, very nice condition.
