The front page features two Acts of Congress and a letter to Congress, each signed in script type by the President; Go. Washington. One is for: "...erecting a light-house on the island of Seguin in the district of Maine...". This is a landmark on the coast of Maine to this day.
Four pages, a few discrete archival mends inside, very nice condition.
