In the midst of World War II, page 8 contains a review of the world premiere of the latest Walt Disney feature-length animated film, "Bambi". Bambi was released to theaters by RKO Radio Pictures on August 13, 1942. The fifth animated feature in the Disney animated features library, the film is based on the 1923 book "Bambi, A Life in the Woods" by Austrian author Felix Salten.
The review is headed: "Bambi, at Music Hall, Has Idyllic Charm; Steps Ahead of All Disney Films Pictorially" with a small illustration of 'Bambi".
The same page includes an advertisement for the film playing at Radio City Music Hall (see images).
Complete in 24 pages, light toning and minor wear at the margins, some small binding holes along the spine, generally in good condition.
