The back page has histori8c coverage from the Tribune's Washington correspondent datelined Feb. 1, 1865: "FROM WASHINGTON - The Dred Scott Decision Buried in the Supreme Court - A Negro Lawyer Admitted by Chief Justice Chase", which tells of John Rock becoming both the first black attorney to be admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States and the first black person to be received on the floor of the United States House of Representatives. Quite historic!
