A terrific issue on the premiere of Disney's animated movie, "Mulan", including a double-page advertisement and a front-page review with accompanying image. Also present are: the premier of "The Negotiator", staring Samuel L. Jackson & Kevin Spacey (also featuring a double-page ad, a full-page ad for the premiere of "The X Files Movie" (also accompanied by a front-page review with a related photo), and "Armageddon" (3 full pages).
Also featured are several full- or large-page ads for both new and upcoming releases, some of which include: "Six Days - Seven Nights", "Hope Floats" and the "The Truman Show" (starring Jim Carey). This is an absolutely fantastic offering for film enthusiasts.
Perhaps no better issue could be found than this, the leading newspaper from the home of the entertainment industry - the Hollywood area's prime publication.
The complete First and Calendar Sections, the Armageddon ad has some wrinkling (no loss), overall in very good condition
Note: Where else might one find authentic, poster-size ads for Opening Day showings, in the most desirable Hollywood-area newspaper - as we were lucky enough to obtain this (and others) indirectly from the Los Angeles Times' own collection? It simply doesn't get any better! In over 40 years of collecting, we have yet to see such unique & dramatic coverage with truly top-shelf, eye-catching displayability (see images).
