Page 35 has a full page advertisement for upcoming concerts at Gaelic Park with a focus on the Grateful Dead. Other performers include Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath amongst others. (see images)
wikipedia notes: The Grateful Dead performed in Gaelic Park on August 26, 1971, to a crowd of 15,000 fans. It would be the last time the band would perform in their original quintet configuration of Jerry, Phil, Pig, Billy and Bobby. Other major bands of the 1970's played here as well, e.g., Chicago, Edgar and Johnny Winter, the J Geils band, and several others.
I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time.
It is worth noting that "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. Founded in 1955, the Voice began as a platform for the creative community of New York City.
Other interesting items from the counter-culture era. Complete in 72 pages, tabloid-size, one crease across the center, a little spine wear, generally in very nice condition.
