The front page has: "Description of a Newly Discovered Cavern on the Northeast end of Mt. Anthony in Bennington", Vermont. Also a front page letter "To his Excellency General George Washington..." from the mayor of Fredericksburg, Va., to which Washington responded with a letter of thanks signed on page 2: Geo. Washington. Washington's visit to Fredericksburg was to visit his mother immediately after the disbanding of the army at the end of the Revolutionary War.
Page 2 includes a letter signed in type: Buonaparte.
