GAZETTE OF THE UNITED STATES, New York, April 3, 1790  Part of the front page, all of page 2 & nearly half of page 3 are taken up with the latest reports from Congress during this formative year. It ends with the note: "...A message was received from the President of the United States by his Secretary--with the ratification by South Carolina of the amendments proposed by Congress to the constitution of the United States."
The first column on the back page is taken up with two Acts of Congress, one for making appropriations for the government for 1790, and the other "An Act to Establish a Uniform Rule of Naturalization", each signed in type by John Adams, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson.
Four pages, minor rubbing to a front page fold, very nice condition.
