Page 45 has a 4 x 4 inch advertisement for a demonstration be to held in a few days to protest the police raid on the Stonewall Inn that happened about a month earlier. This would inspire future gay pride parades with the first official one on the year anniversary of the riots. Only to be found in this publication, very rare as such. I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time.
It is worth noting that "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. Founded in 1955, the Voice began as a platform for the creative community of New York City.
Complete with 56 pages, very nice condition.
