Page 49 has a full page advertisement for: "Midnight Cowboy" for it's World premiere at the Coronet Theater in Manhattan. wikipedia notes: The film opened at the Coronet Theatre in New York City and grossed a house record $61,503 in its first week. In its tenth week of release, the film became number one in the United States with a weekly gross of $550,237 and was the highest-grossing movie in September 1969.
This ad is for that very first showing of the film. I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time.
Page 47 has the opening day review as well.
It is worth noting that "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. Founded in 1955, the Voice began as a platform for the creative community of New York City.
Missing pages 35-38 (unrelated) of this 72 page issue, very minor margin wear, generally very nice.

Provenance note: This issue comes from The Village Voice's own archives, part of their in-house collection used to create their digital archive. Rare as such.

Alert: Many issues of The Village Voice contain articles and/or photos which some consider offensive, and are certainly inappropriate for children. Please purchase with discretion.
