This is a much later issue of America's first successful newspaper, founded in 1704.
The top of the ftpg. has a nice recruiting advertisements to enlist soldiers to fight in the on-going French & Indian War: "For Recruiting His Majesty's Regular Forces In AMERICA" All Able-bodied volunteers above the age of 18...who are willing to engage in His Majesty's service..." with further details on what will be paid.
Page 3 begins with: "A Description of Augustin" being the Florida city of St. Augustine. Then a letter beginning: "As the Spaniards have thought proper to force us into a war with them, it behooves us to prosecute it in all points to our greatest advantage...This empire will be completed & entirely secured by our acquisitions of Spanish Florida and French Louisiana: And there is little more necessary for the getting those two provinces into our possession than the taking of New Orleans..." with much more.
Four pages, never-trimmed margins, old tape at the bottom of the front page only does not cause loss of readability, otherwise very nice condition.
