THE VILLAGE VOICE, New York, Jan. 10, 1977

* "Queen" North America concert tour
* "A Day At The Races" album - "Queen Lizzy Tour"
* Very 1st appearance at Madison Square Garden

Page 67 has a nice advertisement for a QUEEN concert at Madison Square Garden with opening act Thin Lizzy. This was the first time QUEEN played at this famed venue. (see images) I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time.
As most might be aware "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. It introduced free-form, high-spirited, and passionate journalism into the public discourse a tradition it maintained throughout its 60+ year history.
