Page 32 has a historic 8 x 5 1/2 inch advertisement for a Led Zeppelin concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City. This was the first time a rock band played there since the Rolling Stones 5 years earlier. And this was the only time they played at this venue. This was actually Led Zeppelin's very first North American Fall tour and also the 4th time they performed in New York City. This tour was to promote there very first album. They quickly became popular during this year as they were the opening act for Iron Butterfly just a few months earlier. This particular concert took place 8 days after the date of this publication. I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time.
It is worth noting that "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. Founded in 1955, the Voice began as a platform for the creative community of New York City.
Complete with 72 pages, tabloid size, one fold along the center, nice condition.
